General
- My Wild Reset provides guided outdoor experiences, including sea kayaking, wild camping, and related activities.
- All activities are led by qualified instructors with appropriate outdoor leadership and first-aid certification.
- My Wild Reset reserves the right to make minor adjustments to the itinerary in response to weather, tides, or group needs.
- Participation is at your own risk. Outdoor activities naturally involve some element of risk, and participants accept responsibility for their own safety and conduct.
Children & Eligibility
- My Wild Reset does not work with unaccompanied children under 18 years of age.
- Accompanied children aged 14 and above may participate in sea kayaking, subject to prior discussion and approval before booking.
- You must be physically fit enough to take part in the activities and able to swim while wearing the clothing required for the activity.
- You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time during the experience.
- It is your responsibility to disclose to the instructor any medical conditions, injuries, or dietary restrictions that could affect your safety or enjoyment of the trip.
Safety and Equipment
- All specialist equipment required for the activity will be supplied by My Wild Reset.
- A comprehensive group safety kit, including first aid, flares, mobile phone, and VHF radios, is carried by the lead instructor and available at all times.
- All activities are fully risk-assessed; copies of risk assessments are available upon request.
- You must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity, as outlined in the provided kit list, and bring any other necessary items such as water, sunscreen, or medication.
- You are responsible for your personal belongings at all times. Valuables are brought at your own risk.
Behaviour and Conduct
- Respect for nature, instructors, and other participants is essential to the ethos of My Wild Reset.
- We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to the group.
- We also reserve the right to cancel your trip if you fail to disclose medical information that could affect your own or others’ safety.
Booking and Payment
- A non-refundable depositof 25% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
- The balanceis due 30 days before the start date of your selected experience.
- Bookings made within 30 days of the start date must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made via bank transfer or other approved methods outlined during booking confirmation.
Cancellations & Refunds
Participant Cancellation
If you need to cancel your booking:
- More than 30 days beforethe start date: deposit retained, balance refunded.
- 15–30 days before: 50% of total trip cost retained.
- Less than 15 days before: no refund.
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another suitable participant (subject to prior approval).
Organiser Cancellation
If My Wild Reset must cancel the event (e.g., due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances):
- You will be offered a full refundor the option to reschedule to a future date.
- We are not liablefor any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred as a result of cancellation.
Insurance
- All participants are strongly advised to hold appropriate personal travel insurancethat covers outdoor and adventure activities, including kayaking and camping.
Health and Medical Disclosure
- You must inform My Wild Reset of any medical or psychological conditions, injuries, or recent operations before participating.
- This includes allergies or dietary needs that could impact your experience.
- Failure to disclose such information may result in removal from the activity without refund.
Personal Responsibility
- Outdoor environments carry inherent risks such as uneven terrain, weather changes, and water hazards.
- While every effort is made to manage risk, participants accept that complete safety cannot be guaranteed.
- You are responsible for following all guidance and safety briefings provided by the instructor.
Disclaimer
By participating in any My Wild Reset activity, you acknowledge that:
- You understand and accept that outdoor activities carry inherent risks.
- You participate voluntarily and accept responsibility for your own actions.
- My Wild Reset, its staff, and associates are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property except in cases of proven negligence.
Social Media and Privacy
- From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during the experience for marketing and promotional purposes.
- You will always be asked for consent before being featured in any social media.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
